Born on 12th October 1986, Brian Layering Byamukama better known as Bryne Comrade is an out bisexual man serving God as a pastor at Bethany Baptist Church Mbale. He founded this ministry in 2012.

Douglas Mawadri was born on 25th February. He has worked closely with Uganda’s sexual and gender minorities’ community and currently serves as the Safety and Protection Officer at Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG).
His past experience includes working as a program assistant for the Civil Society Coalition on Human Rights and Constitutional Law. He currently serves on several Boards including Environmental Protection Trust Uganda where he is the current Chairperson.

Richard Lusimbo was born on 11th November and is currently serving as the Research and Documentation Officer at Sexual Minorities Uganda. He was the Coordinator of Pride 2015, and directed the documentary ‘And Still we Rise’.
ohn Abdallah Wambere aka Long Jones was born this day.He is an out advocate for the rights of Lesbian,Gay,Bisexual,Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) people.Jones a teacher by profession did alot of commendable work with Spectrum Uganda Initiatives an organization that advocates for health andh human rights of men who have sex with men(MSM) advocating for equality in health service provision at a time when many LGBTI people were facing hostile situation with rigid government policies.
In 2014, Rihanna together with a friend were arrested and paraded before the magistrate on charges of carnal knowledge against the order of nature and remanded to Luzira prisons where they were jailed for close to 6 months.
