This edition under the theme, “The Power Of Ally Ship” is aimed at portraying the experiences our allies go through in their work as advocates for the human rights of LGBTIQ people in Uganda.
We want to deliberate on how religious leaders can appreciate diversity and be advocates of human rights for all within their congregations as we fellowship together. We also want to tell people that it’s okay to be who you are and our duty should be to love one another despite of who we are as individuals.
Many international journalists come to this country, Uganda, make us re-live our trauma by telling them our stories that they never publish.
