We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our book club dedicated to celebrating queer literature, with a special focus on voices of African and Ugandan authors. Join us as we delve into captivating stories, expand our understanding of queer experiences, and grow community.
What to Expect:
– Engaging Discussions: We’ll gather to discuss thought-provoking books, sharing our interpretations, insights, and personal connections to the stories.
– Centering Marginalized Voices: Our reading list will prioritize works by LGBTQ+ authors from Africa and Uganda, amplifying their unique perspectives and experiences.
– Educational and Empowering: We aim to create an educational space where we can learn about queer history, culture, and social justice issues.
– Inclusive and Respectful Environment: Above all, we’re committed to fostering a safe and welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and perspectives.

In-Person Sessions: Meet fellow bookworms face-to-face for insightful discussions and meaningful connections. These sessions will be held once a month, starting on Saturday, 16th November 2024.
Online Sessions: Connect with readers from near and far through our virtual sessions. These will take place twice a month, starting on Saturday, 2nd November 2024.
