Sandra Ntebi commonly known as “Krazy” among her peers was born on this day. She is an out and passionate advocate for the rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) persons in Uganda and was part of this movement building. Sandra currently serves as the chairperson for the national LGBTI security committee, a body that addresses security needs for LGBTI persons in Uganda. She also worked as a researcher with Law Gender and Sexuality at Makerere School of Law from 2008 to 2013. Ntebi is a certified community paralegal officer by Human Rights Awareness and Promotion Forum (HRAPF). Sandra has played a pivotal role concerning security awareness and safety programs for the sexual and gender minority movement in Uganda.
